Material Expeditor (ONLY LOCALS) Tashkent Role Overview The Material Expeditor will monitor and coordinate procurement activities, vendor progress, manufacturing schedules, inspections, and material deliveries for the EPC project. This role is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment in line with project requirements, identifying potential delays, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and implementing recovery actions to support construction schedules. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in material expediting, procurement, or supply chain coordination, preferably within EPC or large-scale industrial projects. Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of procurement processes, vendor manufacturing schedules, inspection procedures, logistics coordination, and material delivery documentation. Project Coordination: Experience coordinating with vendors, engineering, procurement, QA/QC, construction, and logistics teams. Reporting Skills: Proficiency in preparing material tracking registers, expediting reports, progress updates, and procurement status reports. Communication Skills: Strong coordination, negotiation, follow-up, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. TOPMETALPRO is hiring: Engineer Tashkent, office-based | Full-time, 5/2 (Mon–Fri) TOPMETALPRO manufactures steel structures, power transmission line towers, pressure vessels and heat exchange equipment for the power, oil & gas and chemical industries. You will start on a major international project with a foreign EPC contractor, where all project documentation is in English. You will then work on other company projects. Responsibilities: Review structural steel design drawings (KM), shop/fabrication drawings (KMD), equipment drawings and specifications, and prepare material take-offs (MTO); Handle technical correspondence in English and Russian with clients, contractors and suppliers; Prepare document submittals for approval, track revisions, and resolve comments and RFIs; Prepare technical specifications and RFQs for suppliers; compile as-built and shipping documentation (mill certificates, ITPs, shipment document packages); Coordinate with production and procurement; maintain document registers and reports in Excel; Other job-related tasks assigned by management. Requirements: Degree in engineering; Business and technical written English and Russian (mandatory); Ability to read structural and mechanical drawings (mandatory); At least 2 years of experience as an engineer; Proficient in Excel, Word, and PDF/DWG drawings; AutoCAD or KOMPAS is a plus. Nice to have: experience on international projects; knowledge of GOST, EN, ASTM and ASME standards; Uzbek language.
